James O. Conway, 85, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away peacefully Friday, October 2, 2015, at his residence.
Mr. Conway, son of William Ervin and Hazel Irene (Lawson) Conway, was born November 29, 1929, in Potosi, Missouri. He had been in employed in maintenance at Chrysler Motor Corporation.
On February 2, 1985, he was married to Sandra Weaver in St. Louis and she survives.
Also surviving are 5 sons, James L. “Jimmy” Conway, Stanley Conway, Lonnie Conway and Guy Conway all of Mineral Point, Missouri, and Anthony “Tony” Conway of Columbia, Missouri; 2 daughters, Jamie (Thomas) Gandy of Molina, Florida, and Brenda Province of Irondale, Missouri; 1 step-daughter, Mary Austill of Doniphan; 1 sister, Lucy Jacobs of Belton, Missouri; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 daughter, Shelia;1 son, David; 1 step-daughter, Carla Casteel; and 2 brothers, Joe and Thurman Conway.
Visitation for Mr. Conway will be held Monday, October 5, 2015 from 5-8 P.M. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
